Recommendations From Mr. Rebholz
Jurassic Park
by Michael Crichton Michael Crichton outdid himself with this book because it made kids fall in love with dinosaurs all over again. I remember reading it in '95 and was in complete awe at how realistic it was while still maintaining great characters and action. We care for the characters because Crichton writes in such a way that we feel we're there with them. |
Saturn Rukh
by Robert L. Forward I've always been a science fiction fan and Saturn Rukh by Robert L. Forward has always been on the top of my list as far as sci-fi books go. It's hard science fiction with technical jargon; however, we're never lost in that jargon due to an awesome plot. Reading about a crew crash-landing their ship on top of a 4 kilometers long flying creature intrigues me still. I read it again from time to time because Hollywood has a problem with inventing worthy sci-fi movies nowadays. |
